Martin is a technical consultant and IT evangelist with extensive experience across all sectors of business within the EMEIA region. Martin regularly presents at C-level regarding the use and benefits of data transformation (DX) and is a champion for Software Defined Data Centre and Hybrid Infrastructure solutions, he is passionate about promoting the benefits of a software defined world based on leading industry hardware to achieve successful Digital Transformation.

Martin began his career as a computer programmer with British Alcan Aluminium and quickly progressed to become the head of the server based computing IT department, he moved to ADT Auctions and was a pivotal figure in modernising the distributed computing and IT based auction systems before joining ICL Power of 4 to take on a consulting role. Martin has had roles within Computacenter and Specialist Computer Centres as Technical Account manager and Solution Architect working with key names such as Altavista, Vodafone, Cable & Wireless and Barclays before moving to BT Global Services and eventually joining Fujitsu in 2012.

Taking early retirement in 2023 to achieve a different pace of life Martin now runs kognITive Consulting Ltd and provides specialist IT consulting to both small and large organisations.
